Our flexible rent payments solution is ready to launch!

The EppoPay system is built and we are launching in
Upstate New York on September 1st. 🎉

The concept of EppoPay was born over a year ago. We did not anticipate a pandemic, but we saw a need for inclusion and equity. We saw a need to give people more control over their financial lives - to be able to pay important bills, when they want, how they want. With almost half of Americans unable to sustain a $400 financial shock, we recognized that residents need better solutions.

In 2020, amidst a financial and health crisis, residents are increasingly in need of dignity and respect, driving property owners to recognize that the traditional rent collection model must change. Before this year, many people in America needed support, but now that need has become a requirement that property managers cannot ignore. With this motivation to shift a centuries-old industry standard, property managers are more receptive to meeting residents' needs. That's why we built EppoPay. Our mission - to empower people by giving them the tools to live financially resilient lives - is needed more today than ever before. Now is the time!

Heman and I didn’t create the EppoPay system alone. We’re a diverse team of talented people, committed to the mission of the company. I’d like to give a particular shout-out to some of our incredible team members:

Divyah Natarajan, Solution Architect
Divyah is always holding the team together. Every day she jumps from meetings in business, to marketing, to tech, playing an integral role in bridging the relationships between our cross-functional teams. Divyah's outstanding level of commitment to our team and our mission has made her an irreplaceable asset.

Kate Woska, Chief Marketing Officer
Kate injects beauty and intention into everything she touches. With a deep understanding of the importance of language and interaction, she has elevated the bar for our products and has set extraordinary expectations for our user experience. Kate has taught us all the importance of helping people feel at home in their communities, and how we can get there.

Samantha Pecan, Marketing Associate (also our first and most wonderful intern)
Sam brings a young, fresh, and informed perspective to EppoPay. She started her time with EppoPay by developing our look, and quickly transitioned into a full time role. A relentless advocate for the user, Sam has transformed our app into a beautiful presentation of our services and will be leading EppoPay through a rebranding initiative in the coming months.

What comes next?

EppoPay is no longer an idea, but part of an exciting new reality. In the coming months, I look forward to sharing our progress and our philosophy on how payment innovation is a cornerstone opportunity to build community and improve the lives of millions.

With much anticipation,
Leslie and the EppoPay team
