We can help address the housing crisis

The momentum is building!

The EppoPay mission is compelling and momentum is building.  In the past month we have had interest from exciting and unexpected angles.  And we have been thinking more about the social good side of the equation. ❤️

In addition to the profit story, EppoPay resonates as a social good, particularly for those supporting lower income tenants. That motivates us. Last week Facebook joined Apple and Google in an effort to combat the San Francisco housing crisis.  They collectively pledged $4.5B to ease the housing shortage.  Actually, the “housing crisis” is throughout the country and is caused by a host of trends, including low supply, aging structures, affordability, inclusion and community. We need policy and strategies to support the underserved. EppoPay’s innovative payment smoothing system is getting attention.  We have been invited to join the housing crisis discussion with the City of New York. Our system will make a difference for cost-burdened tenants living in metro centers across the country. We're on it!

Here's what we did last month:

  • Heman and Divyah have completed the framework for the solution design; a modular and API-based approach.
    Wow. Execution is everything!

  • Interviewed payment processors; validated that their capabilities meet our needs.
    Check!

  • Engaged legal counsel and selected the investment vehicle.
Using a SAFE agreement; fast, simple and straight-forward.

Here’s what’s coming next:

  • It’s crunch time...complete our first seed funding to raise $150K.
    We are so excited! ✨

  • Start building EppoPay for landlords and tenants.
We’ll be signing our first landlord partners very soon.

  • Meet with NYC and present the EppoPay smoothing system
An incredible opportunity to go big and do good.

Here are the details for investors:

We plan to have all SAFE agreement commitments for the initial round of seed funding by the end of the year and close on January 15, 2020. We have enjoyed extraordinary interest from our friends and family so far and have over 50% of the $150,000 verbally committed!  Please contact Heman or me if you want more information on this funding round. We would love to walk you through our investor materials.

At the request of the Company’s attorney, we request that you do not forward this email to anyone else without contacting us first.
