About Matt

Matt is a rental housing industry sales veteran with an extensive track record of leadership experience and growth-oriented results. Having started his career as a property manager to holding various senior roles, his commitment to and understanding of the space is unparalleled. Prior to joining Circa, Matt was the vice president of growth and sales at Engrain, the market leader in interactive mapping technology and data visualization software for the multifamily industry. In two years, he restructured and grew the sales organization into a proactive and coordinated machine, ultimately increasing revenues by over 5x and establishing the company as the market leader. Before that, Matt had a storied 16-year career with Rent., formerly known as RentPath, where he had roles spanning sales, account management, and strategic leadership. Matt lives in the Dallas Fort Worth MetroPlex with his family.

Why Circa?

When I first began my career in MultiFamily, I was on the Operator side of the Industry and took great pride in the fact that I was helping people take a basic human need and make it their home. After many years on the supplier side, I realized that my work was lacking any social impact. Of course, I helped my clients with their business, but I also wanted the chance to help the community at large. At Circa, I have that chance to both and I get to do that with fun, driven, ethical people that I respect.

What’s your favorite part of your home?

My favorite part of my home would have to be our yard. We have a walking path that winds through our property that is protected from the hot Texas sun by a canopy of beautiful, mature trees. The path leads to a few unique spots to enjoy friends, family and sunsets.
